There so many things I want to say so this post will probably be really long. This is why Admin C and I haven’t been around for 2-3 days.

Oh La Lay’s Admin M is actually… The girl who talked to Lay on After School Club. That’s me.A few events occurred in those 24 hours and after spazzing, laughing, giggling and being dazed for these 2 days I want to share this experience. I wanted to write it down so later on I would smile (or feel embarrassed) when I read it again.

Let’s start with…

[LAST WEEK]

I woke up early on Wednesday because I couldn’t sleep at all, and it has been like that since S.M Entertainment released the first photo teaser for their comeback… I have a dark circles now. The first thing I do when I wake up is check out my phone, I read my messages, e-mails, and checked Twitter and somewhere I saw this:

 

 I said to myself… Why not?

 

I looked for Arirang’s website and joined their Hangout Board, and explained “Why should they choose me to Hangout with EXO?”. The next day I received an e-mail saying I was pre-selected and I needed to fill an application, it had to be really creative… There were at least 50 girls applying for that. I waited for 3 LONG DAYS… I was actually kind of sad on Sunday evening and I told –C- “If by Monday morning I don’t received an e-mail I’ll take it as a “no”… I’m worried”. C and 2 other friends were telling me to keep the faith that they knew they would choose me. I know they did it to cheer me up, but I wasn’t “feeling it”.

My girls were right 2-3 hours later I received THE e-mail.

 

 When I read the subject… I dropped my phone, my hands were shaking I told C and my other 2 about it, so they could join me on the hangout. Apparently I would receive the final and official invitation on the same day and I had to get ready. They asked me who my EXO bias was ‘cause I would had the chance to say something to him! :D I was so happy…

[MONDAY JUNE 10 2013]

I spent the whole day freaking out. I didn’t have a place to do the “sleepover”. There were at least 3-5 girls coming with me, and by the end of the day C told me “Come to my house and we’ll figure the rest out later on”.

D-DAY!

[TUESDAY JUNE 11 2013]

14:30 – 17:00. I grabbed a taxi earlier than I had planned. It drove to the other side of the city in the middle of the rain and lightings. It didn’t rain in my city for… 2 WEEKS and I was so “happy” -_- it was D-DAY and it was freaking raining. I was so worried.

As soon as I arrived on Admin C’s home I placed my stuff on her bed I took the “cute name tags” you saw on the video. I made 12, one for each member… It was a shame we couldn’t show them all. Chanyeol’s and Baekhyun’s were the biggest and it was hard to hold them.

 

Baekhyun (Bacon), Chanyeol (Smiley and medicine shot), Kai (Dancing shoes), Tao (Panda ears), Chen (Microphone), Xiumin (Baozi), Suho (Angel wings), D.O (Donut), Sehun (Bubbles and Bubble Tea), Kris (Dragon wings), Lay (Crown – Probably XingMis understand lol), LuHan (Antlers).

We cut them while watching a soccer game, a really important match actually. Colombia’s Soccer Team scored 2 goals against Peru, I remember I told C that if Colombia won I would take it as a good sign. (Random Fact: Colombia has a BIG chance to go to Brazil’s World Cup 2014 after 23 years)

 

17:00 – 23:00.

-I hit my foot against something *grumbles*… This is how it looks now.

 

- We did light, video and audio test. Everything had to be perfect. (That’s me)

 

- My laptop was dying since last week (R.I.P dear Jamie) so I bought a new laptop that morning. I had to install a few software and plugins *boring part*

C and another friend (R) had never used hangout so we gave it a try. We ate dinner and then waited for our last friend (MP) who was flying from the capital to our city just to see EXO. She was on vacations and came back just for this.

 

23:00. I was nervous waiting for the hangout link. C, R and MP were chillin’ and I was lying on the bed while chatting with another of the girls who was chosen.

 

23:55 *Trouble Maker whistle* (Yeah that’s my e-mail ringtone).

My phone was in the middle of the bed, we all looked at each other… And screamed!! I jumped on the bed picked the phone and there it was the link for the hangout.

 

[TUESDAY JUNE 12 2013]

00:10 – 01:00. I was on the hangout with the rest of the girls, including the one (let’s call her K) from ASC who guided us through the whole thing. We’re going to have a rehearsal with her while on the screen we could see Eric Nam and Hanbyul practicing for the show. It was so cool, they are was cute and fun as you see them on the show.

 

I was the last one to do the rehearsal.

I was surprised to hear during the rehearsal that there were more than 6,000 APPLICATIONS and only 5-6 girls made it. BUT there was something more shoking there was gonna be a REHEARSAL WITH EXO and we had one hour just to “rest”. Yeah right, we didn’t move an inch…

This is the first time I publish this portrait. lol

 

Around 02:00 – 02:59.

You guys know that EXO K and EXO M have their own but I think in total they have 4-5 managers. I think we even saw 2 of them. There was this time in which 2 guys were sitting on the studio and checking other things.

After that, we waited for a while and I was lying on the floor thinking “I’m gonna see EXO. This is real”, MP was on her tab and R couldn’t stop combing her hair in every possible way there is, and then I heard C saying “OH MY GOD”… And all I know is that I heard male voices and sat down and saw white clothes and our Google hangout chat went crazy. IT WAS EXO.

It’s a shame we didn’t took screen caps… I SWEAR I WAS SO DAZED I DIDN’T THINK ABOUT IT.

We saw Kai doing his short “Fouetté en Tournant”, it was perfect. When he did it LIVE he stumbled a little but I thought it was really cute when he hold his laughter and jumped a few times. They were dorky as always and joking with the MCs. It was a really short rehearsal and then they left…

Time flew so fast when I realized it was 02:58!!! 2 minutes till the show started.

 

[SHOW TIME]

03:00. After School Club Started.

There were some memorable moment for me.

First when I heard D.O singing. He’s my EXO K’s bias and I like his voice the most, I swear when I heard him saying “Listen!” Soy jaw dropped.

The girls did it great. Lauren’s dancing was amazing and Kai was impressed (he didn’t see her on rehearsal so it was the first time), OH! And their Intro “We’re One, We’re Chicago EXO fans” was really cool.

Thank God Erin could make it! I want to clarify she wasn’t the one swearing. I think it was another girl who didn’t mute her mic, Erin’s didn’t work so… Yeah. But hey she’s tumblr famous now! :D

 

By the way, girl you owe a song to SuHo!

 

This was funny! BaekHyun saying “hello” with his “girlie” voice. Kris was really lucky she got picked through twitter the same day. Congrats Kris!!

 

HOLY KRISUS… And last but not least, “Admin M”. It was my turn.

These are a few things that “shocked me” lol and that’s why I was smiling like and idiot the whole time.

KAI’S SMILE. Do I need to say anything else? He seemed particularly happy and talkative that day.

 

[39:07] Ok, this one right here was my second favorite moment of the hangout. I’m still laughing at this. ERIC: Melissa from Colombia, [Insert Latino Accent] Hola Mami! Cómo estás? (Hello Baby. How are you?). And hearing EXO saying Colombia… That made my day!

MY FEELINGS…

FAVORITE MOMENT: When he said “noona” I thought I had died and went straight to heaven. It was so cute.

No more “Trouble Maker Whistle” this will be my new ringtone.

*ASC asked my age. I’m a 91er (same year as Lay) so you might be wondering why “noona”? I’m an “early” 91er so I’m consider “older” (if it’s 9-10months difference).

 

04:00-05:00. “Facebbok After Party”.

06:00. Me and my friends went to bed after watching the video twice. I think I passed out after being awake for so long plus my back hurt!!

08:00-09:00. I woke up and felt as if I had being on a party or something, I felt nauseous…

AND……………. Oh La Lay reached 600 followers. <3

 

09:00-14:00. Shower, eating, and doing normal stuff while being on *dazed mode *

 

14:20. I WAS FINALLY SLEEPING!!

 

[WEDNESDAY JUNE 13 2013]

So now, I have to 2 new nicknames from my friends: “Mami” and “Noona”. HAHAHA I had so much fun. After they ended the interview and I muted my microphone me and friends were laughing and screaming like little girls.
